August Therapy Star

When a resident comes to Emerald Pointe for rehabilitation, our goals are to give them the tools to be able to leave our facility with a higher quality of life and the means for continued success once they return home. We love watching the hard work they put in and celebrating their victories!



Emerald Pointe proudly celebrates our August Therapy Star, Joan Tejral. Joan came to our skilled nursing facility six weeks ago for Physical and Occupational Therapy services. Through her hard work and dedication, Joan made phenomenal progress during her time here and was able to discharge home this week! There were tears of joy from her family as they expressed, "Thank you for getting my mom back to the way she was! Six weeks ago, when we brought her in, she was in a wheelchair, was so weak and tired, and could barely walk. This past week, she's up and about using a walker! I couldn't ask for a more professional, nice, and friendly group of people!"
